What is Nuclear Energy used for
Nuclear Energy in all countries around the world is used mainly for energy, but because it is so hard to create and stabilize it is uncommon. For example France is run 80 percent by Nuclear Energy which is a good thing because it destroys the need for natural gas. Also unlike the other forms of energy, Nuclear energy gives of no co2 or any pollution into the atmosphere. Also through out the world there are many nuclear powered boats, the United States Navy has the most of them out of the world when it comes to aircraft carriers. But when it comes to vessels of war the Russians have all off them because the U.S stopped all the use of Nuclear Powered vessels.
How is Nuclear Energy Harnessed
When the Nucleus undergoes fission and fusion it gives of lots of heat. Due to most of the elements being unstable the experiments must direct their heat into water. After they mix the radiated water with clean water, this process gives of steam. They then use the steam to run turbines or wheels that then power generators and engines, and they finally use the engines to create electricity that can be used as perfectly sustainable energy.
How is Nuclear Energy made
Nuclear energy is created when a nuclear reaction takes place. This happens through the process of nuclear fission, which is the splitting of the nuclei of atom, and nuclear fusion, which is the joining of the nuclei of two atoms. Nuclear fission is the kind of process that is used for electricity and generators run by nuclear energy, and just a fun fact nuclear electricity provides 6 percent of the worlds energy. However nuclear fusion is used for things different than electricity for example nuclear fusion is used to create hydrogen bombs.

looking back on the year
This year has been a great run for me. It is the first time i have ever done any type of art class outside of the mandatory middle school ones. I loved every project we did so far, but my favorite was the bowl making, i was very proud with my bowls. that was a really neat experience to make something by hand, paint it and then wait patiently until it came out of the kiln. Also the metal working was another very fun project and when we had to scorch the metal to finish the piece was very entertaining. This has been a great year and i cant wait to come back for more.

This whole story began with the rule of the harsh dictator Shamiv Kastov of Luxenburg. Ever since the death of his great father Shamiv has rulled the the people with an iron fist , until one day they decided they had enough and revolted. Now Shamiv was to rich and powerfull to be killed by some rebles so he did what any smart ruler would and he went into exile on a abanden fortress in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. The whole reason that I am telling you this now is because there has been talk about him coming back, and plans on staying.
Since the rebles have erned their independence they have established a type of military for home defence. But in that military there is a small group of soldiers trained only for the soul purpose of taking Shamiv out. But now that the people live in the fear of him returning they must act now and fast. There mission will be fast and silent, only to sneek into the fortress, find Shamivs quarters, and silence him. But the task will not be so simple due to the long travel by boat and the abundance of armed guards.
It was now six o'clock at night and we would departure any minute now, and hopefully arrive around elleven wich would give them about eight hours of darkness to forfill thier duty. Finally they set out all four with daggers for up close and all dark colored for the perfect breach. It was now about ten thirty and in the distance we could make out Shamivs fortress of solitude. once we pulled up on shore we hide the boat from plain sight and made our way to the sewage pipes, it was not the best way in but it beats thirty armed guards. We crawled on through until we saw the dim light from inside the house shine down into the pipes through the manhole. We escaped the pipes with great haste and made our way to the right side of the main household. It was now easy to sneak around because the bulk of his men are at the main gate. I was chosen to scale the wall and search every window until we spotted Shamiv. After about an half hour of sneaking I could not belive my eyes I found him, and he was sleeping. I signalled my men that we found him and i went through the window and they went through the house. We left the honors to the leader of the group who was Shamivs own cousin. After we took his head and made our way back to the pipes and out to the beach. We all got back in the boat and made our way back home with out saying a word to eachother. When we all arrived the back the entire town was watching and nothing was said we just held up his head.

Blind Contour Drawing
To try blind contour drawings again for the first time since seventh grade was a very fun experience. Blind contours are so much fun to do because you never know what you got until you look down at your paper. But sadly for me I was sick for three of the days we got to work on these so I am not quite finished mine yet.
Lantern
This years lantern project was very interesting because when you cut into the paper it was permanent, and the way it looked on you desk was completely different than the final product. So when it was time to light them up in the dark room it was very cool to see everyones work, as well as your lantern that you have worked so hard on.
Empty Bowls
This was the first time in my life that I actually got to make bowls and i loved it. Then I was able to paint and glaze them which was a whole new fun road to go down. I think empty bowls is a great idea because its lots of fun for the students who get to make the bowls in class, as well as help raise money.

Claude Monet
On November 14 1840 in Paris France the artist Claude Monet was born. At the young age of five his family moved out of Paris and into Le Havre, which is a small town near Normandy. While growing up and going to school with his brother Leon, Monet never liked the idea of being confined to the classroom setting. He want to go outside to better and more fun things. But at this same age he developed his love for drawing, he would fill notebooks and schoolbooks with drawings of people and scenery. But while his mother supported his love for art Monets father wanted him to go into business, so in 1857 when his mother died Monet suffered greatly. As he grew older he became better known in his community, and soon met Eugene Boudin who was a landscape artist. Eugene later introduced Monet to painting out doors. In 1859 Monet moved to Paris to attend the Academe Suisse, which is where he met Camille Pissarro who became close friends with him. But in 1861 Monet was stationed in Algiers for his military device, but discharged in 1862 due to health reasons. After he returned back to Paris to continue his work where he met Charles Gleyer, Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley, and Fredric Bazille and those five became close friend foe the upcoming years. Claude Monet is one of the worlds most famous painters and you could find his work in museums all over the world. I personilly enjoy Monets work because almost all of his works are pictures of great out door scenery and wild life. Also it just so happens i found his name because of a picture i had on my phone and i looked it up to see if it was on the sheet and it was. Under here i put a link of some of his works so you could have a visual, just click the pictures at the top of the page.http://www.metmuseum.org/toah/hd/cmon/hd_cmon.htm
This piece of work by Monet is one of my personal favorites because it just looks so open and beautiful. This painting is also the painting that i found Monet by.
This picture I really like because of the way he uses paints to make the sun set reflect off of the water, it almost makes me feel like I am there looking at this great castle in France.
When i first saw this painting I was look for the final one to use and this just caught my eye. How detailed the clouds in the sky and every individual blade of grass Monet painted. It is just fascinating to me that someone could paint something that looks like I just was standing there and I took with a camera.
